How To Use LinkedIn

One of the things I have noticed is that people I know on LinkedIn tend to fall into one of two camps: those who have developed extensive networks, and those who are stuck with very few contacts. Given the potential opportunities that this approach offers, I recommend learning how to leverage this system more.

There are a number of blogs that provide very useful help on how to leverage your presence. Check out:

Hi Rob:

This web site is going to be a major "must have" for job seekers. I have been reading alot about this web site lately and it seems to becoming a very popular site for a job seeker. I am starting to print off articles and doing a binder for proseptive clients to look at and consider as an other option when doing their job search. Thank you so much for sharing this information on your blog.

Hey Dave, thanks for your comment. I most certainly agree with you, it is of critical importance for job seekers. That being said, I also believe that it is important for people to continuously maintain their networks and keep their contacts and profiles up to date. This will enable them to help others and build a stronger social network overall.
